James and Jameson
The skateboard theft was the final straw for James, for after years on the highroad, Jameson sounded tempting...
James and the Skateboard theif part 2
As the night progressed outside the bowling alley, conversation got heavier as topics around alternative music and death became prevalent. It was the omen, that over James' right shoulder a thief would soon appear and ask Ian to borrow the board...what happened next was unthinkable...she disappeared down the street...
James and the Skateboard Thief Part 1
So it was James' birthday, My dad's birthday, and Liza's mom's birthday the other day and so we convened, after the Jack show, at the Gutter bowling alley. All was well and good, we were playing outside with James' new pro skateboard and having a damn good time....

SNACK SONG
Burning can work.
song GSN and dancing in Cartagena
The original video for this song has been replaced to meet general audience guidelines. The intended audience is I alone, so in the jovial nature of digital show and tell the original XXX rating has been reduced to G. Yet that G only increases to the variable X (times 3). The song remains the same.

Lessons on Trying. 3 weeks, no sleep and the hall in this hotel is getting longer, and I'm running in slow motion, but the food here is really good
It worked. It didn't work. It didn't work. It still didn't work. It almost worked. It worked! It will work someday. You do it for yourself. You do it to yourself. No one cares about you, BUT you- and maybe one-five more if you are very, very charming. So do it to yourself for yourself GOOD GOOD GOOD, cause this mirror is 3 dimensional and probably has a lot to do with the the "next round" if I had to impose any gut instincts of what the great mysteries are actually made of.
4 out of 5 stars said the Mercury. The heat is RISING.
I suspect strangers are the only ones with vested interest, devoid of the formalities such as your scent on any given day, eating habits or temperamental mood. I am a stranger with interest.

Epic Islands and half baked concepts of mis-perceptions of loving concern, enthusiasm and general passion

I don't think I could spend any more time waiting for computers to be done with what I am long over. I want to burn something. It is 3. AM. After this finishes in an hour, I take it to a 24 processing lab to get a copy. Then I watch it. Then I go to print shop and jump on train...at least there is an open clean place awaiting me to blankly celebrate.
In the last week I have gone from going to bed at 5 to waking up at 5 three times in 3 day intervals. But it feels good to have a reason. Feels so good to have a reason. I've been looking for a reason, haven't you? And when it's gone. Tomorrow. I hope I find a new one soon. The time in between reason goes quicker now that there are fewer common mysteries.
This time, I hope for peace. And I almost have it. Tried so hard to get it and I'm gonna hold on tight. It gets slippery and the lights are bright and there is screaming from below but I am good at this.
No wonder. New moon.
Tomorrow will come too soon.
Newport International Film Festival
Screening Friday and Saturday.
Props in Boston Globe, singled out, a "must see", not bad, not bad...
(Except for the fact that no one has seen the new version, I love surprises.)
Another must-see is "Wade in the Water," a post-Katrina documentary that is a "passionate mixture of private mixture of private videos, uncensored interviews, and school-day adventure" and shot by New Orleans children.
Meanwhile we listen to Bush declare War on Youtube. I have been at a convention that declared the youth does not read anymore, they do not go outside, there eyes only look up and down (not side to side), their backs are damaged and they have carpal tunnel, all from the computer. So the big question is, how do we market to them ON the computer? What can we sell them for their new ailments? I know! Vibration! Sound! Lights! Action! The future is upon us.

Gutter Fortune

Appeared on my path today.
General Meaning: Traditionally, representing the energy of a Queen, this card traditionally portrays a sensitive, vulnerable, omniscient woman who offers unconditional love. She is supremely empathic -- sometimes to a fault. Her caring nature exposes her to everybody else's emotions and needs.
This person sometimes has difficulty identifying her own best interests in the midst of her responsiveness to others. As a result, she sometimes appears slightly unfocused or perhaps overwhelmed, filled as she is with "spirits".

In line

They met on the corner, already walking. “Don't the seasons every change?” An ice finger poked under her shirt and into her jeans. “It's winter." A lifting of the cheeks and falling into him. A grimace.
Small groups of people that looked just like she and he were waiting in line without appearing to be doing so. Pretending to talk. Pretending to smile. Waiting in line.
“You know, your only consistent quality is the inability to make a decision, really.” Her rare smile, what flattery, that her resistance to tell the truth appeared as confusion. He attempted dialogue, sputtering and answered himself. She helped.
“Remember when we first met you brought me a pear one morning?” She was patting him on the head, she was stepping out a stranger's cigarette, she was spilling a glass of old molded coffee. He walked ahead of her to seem as if it were he that wished to depart.
Frozen gun shots. The rain began. Rubber balls to teach them about chaos, lost forever on the street and on her legs to prove a theorem too simple to understand. In a photo they would have tears running down their faces. She would look convincing, he frozen. That is a photo he would take. He would analyze the light, the texture of the water on the bricks and her sallow cheeks. She would nod silently and hold her breath.
Suddenly, morning. The door slams itself. The little bell chimes; he’s gone. The street screams below as if robbed while alone in an arcade. Afternoon already. Her thoughts were brief and shallow. She waited for something extreme. Night returned sooner than expected.
The doorbell rang again. The window hit a wall of warm air and looking to the street she could see a green pear in his left hand. She laid back down on the bed under the window and wondered who would be next.

Memorial Day
Post

My first friends to wed. And a match made above. He reads Lute Monthly while listening to Avant Garde Jazz after his sold out rock-n-roll shows and she works on her ancient erotic Irish Novel in between practicing her harp and opera recitals. They both have cascading blonde hair and spend their time divided between Far Rockaway and the Forest of the West. The Event of the Summer. The night before the wedding the ladies will be performing sacred rituals involving oils and flames on the bride-to-be in a teepee and the men will be navigating the river rapids by night. May none of us perish. Oh, and Jenny made this invitation by hand.
Symptoms
Isn't the first sign of schizophrenia olfactory hallucinations? Editing team calls 911 at 4:44 a.m. when I smelled a very strong scent of gasoline. The firefighter woman was very understanding.
The icing on the stake

A mother's love. Gifts of fuel for times of mechanical duels. I have been on a night schedule for seven days now. 30 hours to go before this may not be necessary anymore, but I have grown to love this hooded time when the phone does not ring and the inbox stays empty. Morning's are useless, and posting while rendering is different than burning while toasting. Whole thoughts playing out before an audience of no one.

Epic Normalaties

Her second friend put her foot over her mouth and she did not object, just pointed at at the left ceramic knob. Her first friend turned up the hot, and her own eyes stayed closed. The three sat in silence, the two friends on the edge of the tub, and one submerged. They all thought the same thoughts.
After an hour the submerged emerged in an explosion of dripping, looking at her feet, made large in the tepid water. She did not say what she thought but offered, “ I have never felt so much like an animal. I feel like there is just two ways this story can end and I feel very unoriginal. Very unoriginal. I have to sleep.” Naked, she stumbled out and away. The two still on the edge stared at the pattern the bath mat had left on her butt and legs as she left the room, "unoriginal," she repeated softly to herself.
The word was unfamiliar. The first friend looked to the second, who was just falling asleep against the damp tile wall, eyes blinking slower and slower.
